Television and media license

If you have a TV, radio, mobile phone or computer, you must pay a media licence fee. This charge is payable if you can receive radio and TV programmes through these media.

In Denmark, Danmarks Radio and TV2 are public service stations which are required to provide a wide range of radio and TV programmes of interest to all segments of the Danish population. A media licence fee is paid twice a year, and the fee is set by the Danish national parliament.
